I got your back... or maybe on second thought

Seth on the potty... "Mom? Can you help me???"

I say, "Yes" even though I know that's not what he is really looking for.

What he really means is "Can you do it for me..." and in this instance were talking about wiping his butt which is so not cool with me for many different reasons but especially considering that my baby is going of to nursery school and he needs to learn how to do that sort of thing for himself.

Neverless I say "yes".

"Yes", in the sense that I will walk him through it step by step. (How much can there be to it you may be wondering to yourself? But there really is. We just take it for granted. Like for instance... how much tp is enough tp?)

Seth being the bright child that he is realized he wasn't getting the results he was looking for so he point blank asks...

"Can you wipe my bum?"

And before I can even begin to open my mouth to answer he follows with this hard to argue logic.

"Because were a family... "
"And families work together..."
"Right Mom?"

Well I guess I can take comfort in know we've tought him something right. :)

Forward This!!!

I must send my thanks to whoever sent me the one about rat poop in the glue on envelopes because I now have to use a wet towel with every envelope that needs sealing. Also, now I have to scrub the top of every can I open for the same reason.

I am still waiting to receive the $15,000 that Bill Gates is sending me for participating in their special e-mail program.

I no longer worry about my soul because I have 363,214 angels looking out for me.

I no longer eat KFC because their chickens are actually horrible mutant freaks with no eyes or feathers.

Thanks to email, I have learned that my prayers only get answered if I forward an email to seven of my friends within five minutes.

Because of your concern I no longer drink Coca Cola because it can remove toilet stains.

I no longer can buy gasoline without taking a man along to watch the car so a serial killer won't crawl in my back seat when I'm pumping gas.

And thanks for letting me know I can't boil a cup water in the microwave anymore because it will blow up in my face...disfiguring me for life & if it doesn't blow up it will harm our health because it's dead.

I will never check the coin return on pay phones because I could be pricked with a needle infected with AIDS.

I no longer go to shopping malls because someone will drug me with a perfume sample and rob me.

I no longer receive packages from UPS or FedEx since they are actually AL Qaeda in disguise.

I no longer answer the phone because someone will hack into my line for which I will get a phone bill with calls to Jamaica, Uganda, Singapore, and Uzbekistan.

I can't use anyone's toilet but mine because a big brown African spider is lurking under the seat to cause me instant death when it bites my butt.

And thanks to all the great advice, I can't ever pick up the $5.00 I find in the parking lot because it probably was placed there by a sex predator waiting underneath a car to grab my leg.
If you don't send this e-mail to at least 144,000 people in the next 60 minutes, you will have 10 years of bad luck and go straight to hell when you die. I know this will occur because it actually happened to a friend of my next door neighbor's ex-mother-in-law's second husband's cousin's beautician...

A South American scientist from Argentina, after a lengthy study, has discovered that people with insufficient brain and sexual activity read their e-mail with their hand on the mouse.

Don't bother taking it off now, it's too late!!

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I am so unhappy with blogger right now. Everything is being saved as a draft!! Which would be fine if that's what I wanted it to do but I want to publish! PUBLISH!!! And not just the title!!!

Another Day

Well I must say that I am running short on patience with this whole blogger stuff. It's hardly worth my time. For a while now it seems it's been saving all my posts as drafts, why? Who knows. Simple enough to fix, just go to edit and publish... except that at least on my end I don't get the pictures which tell half the story.

Today much was accomplished. I finally finished writing a letter to a friend... not something I enjoyed doing but it had to be done.

A while back Collier and I were talking about our words and our thoughts... and how there is wisdom in leaving some thoughts left unspoken. A concept he struggles with... which has a tendency to get him in a lot of trouble at times. He had a novel idea... he said that maybe if he filled his head with a bunch of good stuff there would be no room for the bad stuff. I agreed and so we made a deal to start memorising verses together.Today we did just that.

Lately my little ones have had issues with making a race out of everything and just about kill each other as they push each other aside in an attempt to get to the door, out the door or whatever it may be, first! Have to be first, first, first! A human condition I suppose so I shouldn't be taking it too harshly. So we started with Mark 9:35.. if I'm recalling it correctly... where Jesus' deciples ask him who will be first in the kingdom of heaven. He tells them that those who are first will be last, and the who are last will be first. It's cool cuz I think they are getting it. Interestingly enough Seth does most of the three. He's just cool in that sort of way. I love that about him.

Today the three musketeers had another soccer game and Collier got an assist! I was so proud of him! Definitely a step up from him rolling around on the ground. He and I left the game early to go and watch Heather and Michelle in their Oratorical Contest. Both of my girls brought home gold which is phenomenal! This is Michelle's second year in a row in the contest and second time she has brought the trophy home. Heathers first try and she nailed it! I am so proud of her. It is not like her to go above and beyond of what is expected so it was cool to see her challenge herself and have her realize she can exceed at something she puts her mind to. Not only that but the fact that it's Michelle's stomping grounds she was on is something in and of itself. I am proud of them.

I hope tomorrow is a nice day. Conrad and I made plans to go to this little joint in Wolseley and I have been really looking forward to the walk and company. (and the dessert but that almost goes without saying)

Timbits

Collier.. if it looks like he's walking with the ball instead of running with it it's only because he is.

Mish... looking all Terminator like with her protective gear...

Sethy... who almost didn't make it on the team but is so there...

Coach with team... and yes that's Collier picking his wedgie out. What can I say?

So that was our first game.... we were ammatures and got completely slaughtered but that's ok cuz it's all about having fun right? Right... I try and keep that in mind but when there is a teeny tiny four year old playing against a huge seven year old girl who's all pro... well I get a little flustered that's all. :) But that's all right cuz my girl stole the ball from her.... mind you then the girl wiped and some other little team mate thought he needed to come and her rescue so he shoved Lisha. Not cool.... so not cool. That's my baby girl their messin with. She came running to me... with tears in her eyes and so I said what any sensible Mom would have said in my place, "Go out there and kick their butts!" Which she did... Ran back out on that field with vengance in her eyes. :) Made her Mama proud. Scored her first goal later that day! What a shot I tell yeah!

Coach Conrad

I should be in bed right now but it's been forever since I've last blogged and as tired as I am I am also tired of just "thinking" about blogging instead of actually doing it. Why I can't seem to find the time to do so anymore is kind of baffling.. with the unusual amount of "spare" time that we have had lately one would think I would have plenty opportunities but I guess I am trying hard to be more disciplined with how I use my time... and not that blogging is a waste of time there just seems to be other priorities at hand.

Like soccer.... Yes I said soccer. Timbits soccer to be more accurate. It is official. I have now aquiered the ranking of a "Soccer Mom".... OH oh... hold for a sec.... just had to check that the hamster didn't pull a great escape stunt yet again... A couple of nights ago I was on the computer and I heard something fall so I went to check on it and there was the hamster.. not IN the cage but on TOP of it. What a great design in cage I tell yeah...

Anyways... back to the soccer... it's kinda fun so for all yeah family and friends your totally invited to come. Games are held every Monday and Wednesday.... Wednesday are always at home at the Weston C.C. and for the away games you will have to call and find out. All three of the kids are signed up... it wasn't the original plan but it's just how it kinda worked out and who knows it very well may be that the child that was first originally signed up may not be playing for that much longer because he's just got way more fun things to do.. like chase gees or watch the trains.... Those trains man... they have my boys hooked and it's pretty hard to compete against them, especially when one is a Thomas fanatic.

For a while it was looking like we might not even have a team do to a lack of a coach but then Conrad stepped up and were having a lot of fun with it. I'll post pictures soon. Ok.. gotta go now before it really gets too late.
